Share the love!

Whenever someone tells me that they love me, it means a lot to me, so this past Valentine's Day, I decided that I wanted to let all of my friends know how much I love them. In order to do that, I came up with the idea to send each of them an email listing all of the things I love about them.

Small Act of Kindness

Recently, my family and I went to deliver brownies to our neighbors for Valentine's Day. I really enjoyed this activity of spreading love to everyone, even those that we hardly know, and I felt wonderful about it too. I knew that even though this was only a small act of kindness, it really helped not only our neighbors, but our family as well. I am glad that I had this opportunity to become a bit more Christ-like and look forward to having more opportunities like this in the future.

2014 Youth Theme

Every year the church picks a theme and a scripture for the youth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to focus on.  This year the scripture can be found in the Book of Mormon in the Book of Moroni 10:32. This scriptures counsels us to come unto Chirst and to be perfected in him.  This year I hope to use this scripture to help me to be more Christ-like; for example I can serve others, be more compassionate, be friendlier, be kinder, etc.  Here is a video that explains the theme for the youth more in-depth and it comes from the below link.
